Siri Announces Roadmap To Attain SEI CMMI Level 5 Assessment

Siri, a SEI CMM Level 4-assessed and ISO 9001:2000 certified IT services company, has embarked upon the next leg of its Quality journey. The company announced a roadmap to attain SEI CMMI Level 5 assessment.

Siri's internal Quality initiatives are managed as a project themselves, code-named 'Project Aurora'. Under this project, Siri has managed to attain all its previous certifications and assessments ahead of schedule in the past three years.

With the addition of a major client in medical sciences software, Siri is now working with all the major segments of the life sciences and healthcare industry. The client, from the Asia-Pacific region, has commissioned Siri to develop a new product platform from scratch in the field of medical sciences (imaging/prognostics). Siri has been working with bioinformatics product companies, HMOs, pharmaceutical research companies, instrument companies and academic institutions, over the past two years.

With this, Siri is now poised to become an end-to-end player in the life sciences and healthcare market, with a whole range of services from product development to in-house application development, apart from knowledge management, business intelligence and systems integration practices.

Siri has setup a 25-person strong diverse life sciences and healthcare domain expertise group consisting of molecular biologists, mathematicians, doctors, HIPAA & 21 CFR Part 11 professionals, business intelligence & data warehousing experts and knowledge management professionals, to provide domain expertise to the wide range of clients it is working with in this space.
